Impact

Our end of year data shows that we regularly achieve above national average for Good level
of Development. Clear progress is shown throughout the year through pupil progress meetings.
Children go on to build on the solid grounding the receive in phonics so that the year 1 phonic
scores are consistently high.

We ensure that our children are ready for the next stage of education by following a detailed
transition policy. By following the long-term plan the children have the knowledge and skills to
continue achieving.

Our children demonstrate their positive attitudes to learning through high levels of curiosity,
concentration and enjoyment. They listen intently and respond positively to adults and each other.
We promote a strong feeling of pride, for themselves, their environment and especially for their
learning. The children are able to manage their feelings and behaviour and understand how this
has an impact on others. The children show a love of learning and are happy and confident to
talk about it and are developing their resilience to setbacks.
