Relationships and Sex Education (RSE)
The RSE curriculum sits within the PSHE curriculum. However as a faith based school we
are aware that any programme which we use must comply with the Catholic Church's teachings. Further information about our approach to RSE can be found on the PSHE curriculum area of the website.

Letter from governors sent March 2021 to all parents
Governors have revised the Relationship Policy (now called Relationships, Health and Sex Education Policy) and it can be found under the Policies section of this website.
The programme which we are using in school from April 2021 is 'Life to the Full' which is a new online platform, written and resourced with catholic teachings at its foundation. It delivers most of the new content required in the RSE curriculum. Some areas of the Health Education and other discrete content such as citizenship will be planned for and delivered separately. Details for the coverage for both RSHE and PSHE can be found in the curriculum maps.
Life to the Full has prepared an introduction to the material for parents, in which they set out the areas which we will be consulting parents about from March until the end of April 2021.
Parents have been sent the login details to access the site. These are not available here as it requires a subscription to use the materials. Parents who need the information can contact Miss Morrison.
